Projects & Professional Work

Jedd Chlebowski is a bassist who thrives in situations that require strong feel, musical awareness, and the ability to adapt seamlessly across genres and formats.

His career has included touring productions, high-pressure freelance work, and long-term collaborative projects — often involving large amounts of material learned efficiently and delivered with confidence.

Freelance & Call-In Work

Jedd regularly fills in for rock, pop, funk, and jazz projects, frequently for single-show engagements involving extended sets. These calls often come with limited rehearsal time — and sometimes none at all — placing a premium on preparation, listening, and immediate ensemble connection.

This work has required learning two to three hours of material on short notice and delivering a solid, musical performance from the first downbeat.

Touring & Production Experience

Earlier in his career, Jedd toured Europe with a Broadway-style musical revue, performing in a structured, production-driven environment that demanded consistency, accuracy, and professionalism night after night.

He has also stepped into polished show settings such as Legends in Concert at Foxwoods with no rehearsal, supporting a show-based performance in a high-visibility environment.

Ongoing Projects

Alongside freelance work, Jedd remains active in several ongoing projects across rock, jazz, and groove-oriented formats. These settings emphasize interaction, time, feel, and musical communication, balancing structure with improvisation.

Musical Approach & Philosophy

Jedd is most interested in projects that prioritize musical depth, interaction, and growth — regardless of genre, format, or visibility.

He values situations where listening, feel, and responsiveness matter as much as technical command, and where musicians challenge one another to stay engaged and curious.
